Celtic's 6-man wishlist, Hatate breaks silence, Raskin Rangers outcome, Hibs plan - Scottish transfer news
The latest transfer stories involving Scottish clubs ahead of deadline day
The transfer window may have slammed shut in England on Tuesday night, but Scottish clubs have until Thursday at 5pm to conclude their business.
Celtic were the busiest club over the past 24 hours and more activity is coming at the champions - but they won’t be the only club looking to do business with plans afoot at Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and more.
Here’s the latest Scottish transfer stories, speculation and gossip on Wednesday morning:

Hatate leaves Celtic
Reo Hatate has ended a four-year association with Celtic after joining Burnley during the final minutes of the EFL transfer window.
The 28-year-old Japanese midfielder had expressed a desire for a fresh challenge and will now play in the English Championship under Belgian boss Nicky Hayen.
“This is a great move for me,” said Hatate. “It’s my first time playing in England and it’s a fantastic club to be joining.
“I’m hoping to bring my experience and knowledge to the dressing room and help the team on the pitch as much as possible to achieve our aim.”

Celtic’s six-point wishlist
After signing midfielder Oliver Sorensen on Tuesday afternoon, Celtic are keen to add six new players by 11pm on Wednesday - the deadline for Europa League registrations.
It is anticipated that Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and PSV midfielder Joel van den Berg will have their deals rubber-stamped in the next few hours.
A double loan signing could come in from Chelsea, with talks continuing for left-back Landon Emenalo and striker Shim Mheuka, the latter of whom was pictured at Glasgow Airport on Tuesday.
Celtic are also keen on Torino’s Lithuanian midfielder Gvidas Gineitis, who played in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday evening, and Feyenoord right-back Jordan Lotomba.

Barron leaves Rangers
Rangers’ Connor Barron sealed a late-night loan deal to Middlesbrough, becoming the second Scottish midfielder to seal a move away on Tuesday after Lyall Cameron moved to Dundee United.
The 24-year-old had dropped out of the picture at Ibrox and will play in England’s second tier for the rest of the season.
Rangers remain close to announcing a deal for Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy, who would cost £9 million from the MLS side.
It remains to be seen whether Nicolas Raskin will leave, however. The Belgian was not sold on Tuesday - where a number of transfer windows closed across Europe.

Hibs activate plan
Hibs have signed Serbian defender Marko Ivezic as a replacement for Warren O’Hora, who was sold to Leicester City on Wednesday morning.
Ivezic is a 24-year-old from German club Holstein Keil and has experience of playing in the Bundesliga. “He is primed and ready to fit right into the squad,” said head coach David Gray.
Earlier on Wednesday, Hibs confirmed that O’Hora had made a “life-changing” move to Leicester City. The 27-year-old Irishman has penned a three-year deal with the Foxes.
“We’re sad to see him go, but ultimately, we understand that this is a life-changing move for him and his young family,” said Gray.
Patterson moves to Torino
Scotland defender Nathan Patterson has completed a move to Torino from Everton.
The right-back teams up with his international team-mate Che Adams after agreeing a three-year deal with I Toro.
After making 68 appearances for Everton, Patterson has dropped out of the first-team picture on Merseyside and will look to gain regular football with the Serie A outfit.
The ex-Rangers man has been capped 29 times by Scotland.
