Hibs left it late in the final game of the weekend to stay with Rangers on 13 points at the top of the Scottish Premiership. The Easter Road side weren’t the only team to put on a late show to grab a crucial win with Celtic doing likewise on Saturday evening at Dundee United.
The league may have not thrown up plenty of goals but there has still been excitement and intrigue around the league. Referee decisions still infuriate, classy goals are still being scored and defensive dunderheids are around every corner.

9. Siegrist (W/L)
There was a degree of sympathy for Benjamin Siegrist when Ajeti scored. The Dundee United goalkeeper had been excellent throughout the game, making big saves and providing a sound presence between the sticks. However, pushing Ryan Christie’s effort high into the air rather than wide kept the ball alive for Celtic allowing them to eventually force a goal. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

10. Aberdeen... Liquid football (W)
Are Aberdeen the first team you would choose to watch in Scotland if you were a neutral? No. Let’s face it, not a chance in hell they would even be in the top 10. But they do have players capable of putting on a show and that’s what Ryan Hedges and Scott Wright did to carve Livingston open with the latter scoring what proved to be the winner. It was a lovely piece of football and something fans are desperate to see more of. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

11. Livi’s attacking depth (L)
The signing of Anthony Stokes was confirmed on Saturday afternoon. He adds much needed experience and goals to Livi after the loss of Lyndon Dykes. It has been clear over the past two games, draw to Rangers and defeat to Aberdeen, they are lacking that threat. Behind Stokes there isn’t the required quality at the moment for the team to be too much of a threat with young players, untested in the top-flight. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

12. Ryan Porteous (W)
The centre-back won the penalty which allowed Stevie Mallan to net the winner. But it was his all-round performance which so impressed. He was his usual combative self, winning more than 70 per cent of his aerial duels, making seven interceptions and six clearances. But his passing was so shrewd, especially firing the ball into the forwards' feet. He completed 98 per cent of his passes and made five of six long passes. Photo: Mark Scates - SNS Group
