Volbeat Glasgow Hydro Stage Times: Set times, support, tickets, setlist, age restrictions

Their second album, 2007’s Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil, went platimum, while 2010’s Beyond Hell/Above Heaven received critical acclaim around the world, selling in large numbers in Denmark, Austria, Sweden, Canada, Germany, Finland and the United States.

Known for their incendiary live shows, the band released their ninth studio album, God of Angels Trust, earlier this year and are currently touring in support of it.

And there’s good new for Scottish fans - with a date in Glasgow.

When are Volbeat playing Scotland?

Disturbed are playing Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Monday, November 10. Doors will open at 6.30pm.

Who is supporting Volbeat at their Glasgow gig?

Volbeat willhave two supports in Glasgow. First up will be Manchester-based punk group Witch Fever. The main support will be provided by Bush, the English grunge band that became hugely successful in the USA in the 1990s, selling over 20 million albums worldwide, while failing to replicate that success back home in the UK. They have released seven studio albums to date, most recently this year’s I Beat Loneliness, and are perhaps still best known for their single Swallowed and lead singer Gavin Rossdale’s marriage to Gwen Stefani.

What are the stage times for Volbeat in Glasgow?

Doors open at 6.30pm and Witch Fever will be on at 7pm. No further official set times have been revealed. Having said that, judging from similar gigs at the venue, expect Bush onstage at around 8pm and Volbeat to start at 9pm. The show will finish by 10.50pm.

Are there any age restrictions at Volbeat’s Hydro gig?

It’s over-14s only in the standing sections for the Disturbed Hydro gig, and over-8s in the seated areas. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
