The Canadian rockers will be playing Scotland next year.

Formed in Toronto in 1968, Rush are heading back on tour with the two remaining members of their classic power trio lineup - frontman Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson (drummer Neil Peart died in 2020).

The threesome performed together between 1974 and 2015 when Peart retired from music, with the band disbanding three years later.

But now they have announced that they are going on a reunion tour starting in 2026, with German drummer Anika Nilles filling in for Peart.

It’s the latest chapter in a hugely successful career for the band who have sold over 42 million albums worldwide, been nominated for seven Grammy Awards and won ten Juno Awards (Canada’s answer to the Brit Awards).

And there’s good news for Scottish fans - with a date in Glasgow.
