The Wet Wet Wet star will be finishing his UK tour with a huge homecoming date in Glasgow.

Marti Pellow rose to fame as the lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, whose 1987 debut album Popped In Souled Out was only kept off the number one spot in the UK album charts on the year of its release by Michael Jackson's Bad.

The five-times platinum record would later finally top the charts in January 1988 and included the hit singles Wishing I Was Lucky, Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes (Home and Away) and Temptation.

Pellow left the band in 2017 but continues to tour singing Wet Wet Wet songs, while remaining band members have a new lead frontman in the shape of former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm.

The Clydeband-born singer has just announced a UK arena tour and there’s good news for Scottish fans, with a gig schedued for Glasgow.

Marti Pellow will be playing Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Saturday, October 2, on his No Marti No Party tour. Doors will be at 6.30pm.

As has become standard, there are a number of way to get your hands on tickets before the general sale.

OVO customers will have access to tickets from 10am on Wednesday, October 28, here.

There will also be a fan presale at the same time, from 10am on Wednesday, October 28. Just sign up for his mailing list (scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your email address) here and you’ll be send a code and a link to access tickets.
