Trying Times Tour: Here's how to get tickets and presale for James Blake's Glasgow gig

Named for his new album, the multi-award winning musician will headline SWG3 Galvanizers in October, before heading to Manchester and Bristol. The tour follows the release of Blake’s 2026 album Trying Times, with a show planned for London in September.

When is James Blake playing Glasgow? All 2026 UK tour dates

Blake is set to perform at Glasgow’s SWG3 on Wednesday, October 21, ahead of shows in Manchester and Bristol. The shows will follow a series of intimate shows across the UK later this month.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for James Blake’s upcoming Glasgow show will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 20.

Fans hoping to see Blake in Glasgow can purchase tickets from Universe, with tickets for his other shows available from Ticketmaster.

Is there James Blake presale?

Yes there will be a presale for Blake’s upcoming UK tour dates.

To access artist presale, fans must sign up before 10pm on Monday, March 16 with the presale beginning at 11am on Tuesday, March 17. Further details will be emailed to those registered.

For his Glasgow show, there is also Gigs in Scotland presale which will begin at 10am on Thursday, March 19. This will be open to anyone registered for an account on the website.

Are there any age restrictions?

Anyone hoping to see Blake at SWG3 must be aged 14 or older, with anyone under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.

What’s the capacity at SWG3 Galvanizers?

SWG3 has a number of different venue spaces of different sizes available. Blake is set to play SWG3 Galvanizers, which has a capacity of 1,250 people standing.

Meanwhile, Galvanizers Yard can host up to 4,000 with smaller spaces at SWG3 such as the TV Studio, Poetry Club or Warehouse hosting between 125 to 1,000.
