Grab your pip-boy because Fallout’s highly anticipated second season is about to begin. The post-apocalyptic adventure is returning to Prime Video after a more than 18 months wait.
The acclaimed video game adaptation is set to kick-off a brand new series - and the first episode is set to arrive early. Unlike the first series, the show is set to be released weekly on the streaming service.
Based on the beloved Fallout series, the show proved to be a hit back in 2024. It has already been renewed for a third season.
But when exactly can you tune in and what to expect? Here’s all you need to know:
What time does Fallout season 2 episode 1 come out?
Prime Video used the Las Vegas Sphere to announce that it would be releasing the first episode of the second series earlier than expected. It is now set to come out today (December 16) in America - but will still come out on Wednesday (December 17) in the UK.
The episode is set to land on the streaming service at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET in the United States on Tuesday. Due to the difference in time zones, the episode will be available at 2am British time and 3am in Europe tomorrow.
When does Fallout season 2 release?
Unlike the first season, the show is set to be released weekly. It will also drop just one episode per week, coming out on Wednesdays - aside from this first episode.

- Episode 1 - December 16/ 17 (UK)
- Episode 2 - December 24
- Episode 3 - December 31
- Episode 4 - January 7
- Episode 5 - January 14
- Episode 6 - January 21
- Episode 7 - January 28
- Episode 8 - February 4
The season finale is scheduled to be released on February 4, 2026 - at least according to the current plan. Prime Video could switch-up its schedule as it did with the first episode.

The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).

What to expect from Fallout season 2?
Prime Video teases: “The new season of Fallout will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.
