Theatre review: In Defence of Hitler!

placeholder image

The basic comedy concept here is a sound one; that two friends, debating whether they'd kill Hitler if they could go back in time, actually make the trip to find out.

Star rating: *

Venue: Sweet Grassmarket (Venue 18)

Writer Vachel Novesha delivers a fun idea and a few irreverent gags (Godwin’s Law is cleverly invoked), but the delivery by this ensemble of students from Dundee University is just too flat to do even the simplest expository dialogue justice.

Until 28 August. Today 5:10pm.
