Ally McCoist and Fred MacAulay will host a live edition of their hit 90s TV show to celebrate Scotland’s return to the World Cup.
Ally McCoist and Fred MacAulay are set to revive their hit TV show for a special one-off live event in Glasgow.
The former footballer and the comedian hosted McCoist & MacAulay for three series back in the late 90s, with the upcoming live show ending the show’s 27 year hiatus.
Acting as a special preview for Scotland’s first World Cup campaign in almost 30 years, the event will take place at the SEC Armadillo less than a month before the team’s first match.

McCoist said: “We’re very much looking forward to our big day coming up. It’s been a long long time - the best part of a long time - but we had a lot of fun last time so we can’t wait to do it all again.
“It’s a huge moment for Scotland, and for the national team, so we’ve got some big plans up our sleeves to ensure we have a night to remember!”
McCoist and MacAulay Live will see the duo discussing their love of the beautiful game and their expectations for Scotland at the World Cup, with live music, special guests and more, with their signature banter guaranteed.
MacAulay said: “Anytime I’m with Ally, the common denominator is laughter - he makes me laugh and I like to think I make him laugh, so we’re looking forward to reuniting with some incredible guests to celebrate this huge milestone for the country, and for the football team.
“The experience of taking McCoist & MacAulay to Paris in 1998 and being part of the World Cup atmosphere was unforgettable - it’s been over a quarter of a century since the last one, so you better catch us this time because there’s no reunion in 25 years time.”
