If you’re looking to book a holiday that genuinely has something for everyone it’s actually not that hard. Winner of the coveted 2022/23 AA Award for Holiday Centre of the Year, Stanwix Park in Cumbria offers both quality and value for all your family.
And it’s not too far from your doorstep. Just over two-and-a-half hours drive from Edinburgh, the resort is located in the popular Victorian seaside town of Silloth, with its striking promenade and sandy beach.
Whether you love the sea air or want to explore the Lakes, the park is situated on Cumbria’s Solway Coast next to a designated area of out-standing natural beauty that affords visitors stunning views of the sunsets over the Solway Firth.
Stanwix Park offers a choice of self-catering apartments and caravans to hire for three, four and seven-night breaks. They can accommodate four to eight people and range in specification from Silver to Platinum.
The park also offers both pet-free and pet-friendly accommodation (with a maximum of two pets), so you can feel free to bring all the members of your family.
If you book seven nights or more for a camping or touring vehicle, you’ll receive a 10 per cent discount on the cost of your stay. All pitches are fully serviced with their own utilities.
You can also enjoy camping without a tent as camping pods are available to book for a minimum of two nights.
Whatever you choose, unlimited use of the park’s newly refurbished leisure and entertainment centre is included in the price – and there’s plenty to keep you busy. There’s both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, foot spas, and heated loungers.
Children are well catered for, with a bowling alley, amusement arcade, and a mini soft play area.
The resort offers popular family entertainment every night with a selection of live music, magic shows, and special guests. Meanwhile, the Dunes Bar offers adults-only evenings with bingo, music, and variety shows.
Stanwix Park is a family-run enterprise that puts your family first. With no price increase in the offing and even a 15 per cent discount on bookings for next year, with use of the discount code PRE25 online, now is an ideal time to plan your next family getaway to the coast.
