Scotland’s teams for the upcoming Home Internationals, including one taking place on home soil, have been announced by Scottish Golf.

The men’s and women’s event takes place at Woodbrook Golf Club in County Wicklow in Ireland on 4-6 August, with the boys’ and girls’ edition being held at the same time at Monifieth.

Brothers and fellow Gullane members Oli and Sam Mukherjee have been selected in the men’s side, which also includes reigning Scottish Amateur champion Chris Somers. The line up also includes two Glenbevie players in George Cannon and Ross Laird.

Gullane also has a representative in the women’s team in Abercrombie Nisbet, with her team-mates including former St Rule Trophy winner Jen Saxton.

Newly-crowned Scottish Boys’ champion Fraser Walters spearheads the boys’ team while his younger sister Stella will also be in action at Monifieth in the girls’ side.

Looking as though it could be the team most likely to be a force against England, Ireland and Wales, the girls’ line up also includes Scottish Women’s champion Erin Huskie and back-to-back Scottish Girls’ champion Carly McDonald.
