What channel is Scotland v New Zealand? TV and live stream for Nations Championship clash

How to watch Scotland take on the All Blacks

Scotland will bid to make history on Saturday by chasing their first-ever victory against New Zealand.

The teams meet in the Nations Championship at Murrayfield Stadium in the latest instalment of a fixture that stretches back 121 years over 33 Test matches.

The All Blacks have claimed 31 victories, with the remaining two matches ending in draws - the last one being in 1983 which finished 25-25.

The last four meetings between the teams have been decided by eight points or fewer. Just last year at Murrayfield, Scotland mounted a stunning comeback from 17-0 down to level the scores at 17-17 before ultimately falling short in a 25-17 defeat.

Both teams come into the November Nations Championship opener on the back of a strong summer in the inaugural edition of the new tournament which concludes with a Finals Weekend at Twickenham on November 27-29.

Scotland, now in their ninth year under head coach Gregor Townsend, sit second in the Northern Hemisphere table on 11 points - one point behind France - after a historic away win over Argentina in Cordoba was followed by a hard fought defeat by South Africa in Pretoria and a victory at Murrayfield against a Fiji side operating as the designated ”home” team.

The All Blacks, who are coached by ex-Glasgow Warriors boss Dave Rennie, maxed out their home advantage in July, sweeping all three of their matches to gather 15 maximum points from victories over France, Italy and Ireland.
