Scotsman Rugby Show: Duncan Weir interview
DUNCAN Weir, Scotland’s drop goal hero in Italy, goes back to his roots in this week’s Scotsman Rugby Show in association with Ginger Grouse.
The stand-off, who scored the match-winning drop-goal against Italy in Rome, talks to David Ferguson about his upbringing at Cambuslang rugby club, meets up again with the coaches who introduced him to the game and talks about his hopes for inspiring more Glasgow youngsters to view rugby as a real alternative to football in terms of a sporting career.
