Scotland got their inaugural Nations Championship campaign off to a flying start with a 47-38 win over Argentina at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
It was far from the perfect performance from Gregor Townsend’s side, with Los Pumas very much on top for periods of the game, but there were lots of positives aside form the result to be thrilled with.
In particular, a new-look back line that was without Finn Russell and Blair Kinghorn were exceptional and showed the kind of fluidity you’d expect from players who had played a lot more Test level rugby together than they had.
Here are our player ratings from Scotland’s win over Argentina:

17. Replacements (Backs)
George Horne such a weapon from the bench and dangerous against tired legs (5). Fergus Burke was called on for an early cameo as Jordan underwent a HIA and played an important part in the first try and nailed a difficult conversion too (6). Darcy Graham looked lively and another who is a real threat in a game like this (5). | Getty Images
