Across 93 or so minutes at Fir Park, a Wednesday evening ten years ago today, 27 players took to the field to participate in a match none of them will every forget. For some Motherwell players it was their last outing at Fir Park before moving on, while for Hibs it was about trying to help the club qualify for Europe.
Some of those on display that night put in fantastic performances, while there were a number of players who probably wish they could forget that evening.

9. John Sutton
The scorer of two goals as well as an assist - if you can call it that - for Lukas Jutkiewicz’s goal. Would go on to play for Hearts and is now a player-coach at Greenock Morton. | Other 3rd Party Photo: SNS Group Ross Brownlee

10. Jamie Murphy
One of the most surprising aspects of the game was that Jamie Murphy was relatively quiet despite the six goals scored. His goals and swift attacking play took him to Sheffield United. Contracted to Rangers but spent the last few months on loan at Burton Albion. | Other 3rd Party Photo: SNS Group

11. Lukas Jutkiewicz
The scorer of THAT goal. His form that season on loan from Everton netted him a move to Coventry City. Has since made a couple of seven-figure fee transfers. Currently with Birmingham City. | Other 3rd Party Photo: SNS Group Ross Brownlee

Had a short-term deal with Motherwell. The New Zealand international would go on to play in Brazil and his homeland. Now playing in Australia and has 52 international caps to his name.
