New DP World Tour card holder signs for Scottish management company
Daniel Young handed timely boost heading into 2026 season-opener in Australia
Daniel Young is teeing off his first season as a full DP World Tour card holder in Australia this week as a new member of the Bounce Sport stable.
The Perth man, one of three Scots to secure step ups from the HotelPlanner Tour this year, joins a roster that includes Bob MacIntyre, Grant Forrest, Calum Hill, Euan Walker, Stephen Gallacher, Marc Warren, Lorna McClymont and Louise Duncan.

Young, who met MacIntyre in the final of the Scottish Amateur Championship at Muirfield just over a decade ago, is delighted to have signed for the Edinburgh-based management company, which was co-founded by Iain Stoddart and Derek Ritchie.
“It has only been a matter of weeks since I secured my place on the DP World Tour after the Road to Mallorca Grand Final,” said Young, who landed his breakthrough win on the HotelPlanner Tour in the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge supported by The R&A at Schloss Roxburghe near Kelso.
“But I am excited to be starting the new season so quickly. I am hoping that I can continue my good form from this year in the three events this side of Christmas and that would set me up well for some big tournaments at the start of 2026.”
Young, who is flying the Saltire along with David Law and Cameron Adam in this week’s season-opener, the BMW Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland, was praised recently by world No 7 MacIntyre for the attitude that has eventually earned him a crack at the DP World Tour.
“Danny has earned this step up to DP World Tour after a hugely-successful HotelPlanner Tour season this year,” said Stoddart as he welcomed Young to the Bounce Sport stable. “He already has the experience of competing at this level, so I am confident that he will hit the ground running, and look forward to the privilege of working with him, and playing our part, to keep him climbing the ladder of world golf.”
