the Parkhead frontman’s four children.

The 25-year-old Scotland international, who regularly engages with other Twitter users, was left shocked and saddened by the post and announced that he was leaving the social network.

He was targeted on Twitter after Celtic’s Scottish Cup victory against East Kilbride on Sunday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged offensive comments made online.”
