The new Scottish Premiership season is upon us, with football clubs across the country launching their brand new home, away and third kits as supporters gear up for the big kick-off later this week.
The season has already started for many top-flight sides, with the Premier Sports Cup and European qualifiers underway. Meanwhile, others have completed their pre-season schedules and are ready for the competitive action to begin. Set to start on July 31 with a clash between Dundee United and Rangers, the 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season will see supporters across the country sporting their club’s brand new jerseys - but which club has released the best away design this year?
With brand new designs from Macron, Umbro, Adidas and Hummel, we have put together our list of the best - and the worst - Scottish Premiership away kits for 2026/27, from 12 to 1.

9. 4th: Dundee United
Why Sir Alex Ferguson wasn't a big fan, grey-themed kits were all the rage in the 90s, and they're back in fashion at Tannadice - though this is officially 'silver-grey' with a white colourway. We can understand it might be marmite to some, but we really like this one from Errea. The white detailing on the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs, and side body panels is crisp, and the minimalist, monochrome club crest is really eye-catching. This shirt retails at £60 for adult sizes. | Dundee United FC

10. 3rd: Kilmarnock
As major fans of kit manufacturer Hummel, we have to give this one a big thumbs-up. It teeters on the brink of 'there's too much going on', but that's almost a staple of the Danish kit supplier's designs over the years. Bold and bright, it's a proper famous and traditional colour for a Killie away kit. This shirt retails at £60 for adults sizes. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

11. 2nd: St Mirren
Macron have mostly performed well across the league with their away designs this year, and this golden St Mirren number is right up there. Aptly named 'the Gold Standard' kit, features an embossed Paisley pattern and is a nod to the club's Premier Sports Cup victory last season. They've done the right thing by making the shorts black as well, which is a smart design choice. Stunning. This shirt retails at £60 for adults sizes. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

12. Hibs
Sleek and stylish. This is a total modern-day classic that harks back to a similar design that Reebok gave to Liverpool in the mid-90s. Hibs have hit out with some bangers in recent years, and this might be the best of the lot. The bone-white design with the deep green piping gives it a smart look. A kit that could be worn with just about anything. The shirt retails at £65 for adult sizes. | SNS Group
