The Scottish Premiership title race took its first major turn at the weekend as Rangers defeated Celtic 1-0 at Parkhead on Sunday.
After downing their fierce rivals 3-0 in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-final last week, Ryan Naderi’s first-half strike ensured Rangers made it back-to-back wins against the Hoops. The win cuts the lead at the top to just two points ahead of the international break.
Hearts remain in third place, but were left frustrated for the second weekend in a row, as they drew 1-1 with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. League leaders for the majority of last season, Wouter Vrancken’s side trail Celtic by five points after the first seven rounds of fixtures.
As we approach a three-week international break, we look to bookies' odds on who they back to be crowned Scottish champions in May, following a big set of results at the weekend.
