It was a wet and windy night on the south side of Glasgow, but still the home side did enough to get a win – though it wasn’t their usual performance.
Rangers were fairly average across the park and came onto a game, but Poznan caused them problems and didn’t allow the usual style of play to be imposed.
Nevertheless the home side got the win, from a familiar source in Alfredo Morelos and kept another clean sheet.

Scale - 10: One of the best performances you've seen. 9: Outstanding. 8: Very good. 7: Good. 6: Average. 5: Poor, 4: Very poor. 3: A terrible day at the office. 2: Abysmal. 1: One of the worst performances you've seen.

9. Ryan Kent - 7
Brighter and better than recent weeks - although was that because those around him were below usual standard? Still not at heights of August September but potentially on the way back. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

10. Ianis Hagi - 6
Rain-slicked surface would have allowed Romanian maverick to zip passes around. Instead the soaked pitch slowed the pace of the ball and that didn't play in his favour. Conceding possession too often in second half led to replacement with Aribo. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

11. Kemar Roofe - 5
Clearly still to find an understanding with front-line after a while out. Took overhead kick on in first half, when Kent was better option and didn't link well with Hagi or Kent in the second half Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

12. Steven Gerrard - 8
Team was not firing on all cylinders, but boss addressed it, made the striker change at the right time and held Hagi-Aribo swap to the right time too. Not his usual style of play, but a successful night. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group
