Rangers will target a return to the top of the Scottish Premiership this weekend as they welcome Motherwell to Ibrox in the first game of the split (kick-off: 3pm).
Just a point behind league leaders Hearts, Danny Rohl’s men can leapfrog their rivals this Sunday, with the Jambos not due to play Hibs until later in the day. However, Celtic may also have a say in proceedings, with Martin O’Neill’s men due to face Falkirk 24 hours earlier.
Rangers are unbeaten in their last 15 league games and scored an astonishing ten goals in their last two fixtures, with their 4-2 win against Dundee United followed up by a chaotic 6-3 win at Falkirk a fortnight ago.
Their visitors, Motherwell, will be looking to pick up valuable points on the road in order to boost their quest to finish in the top four. Without a win in their last five games, their lead over fifth-placed Hibs has been cut to just three points.
Ahead of the game at Ibrox, The Scotsman has all the early team news:

9. Bailey Rice - Rangers - OUT
Linked with a summer move to Ajax and Schalke this week, the young midfielder is out of contract with Rangers this summer. He's missed almost the entirety of the campaign with a muscle issue, and remains sidelined for the visit of Motherwell. | SNS Group

10. Zach Robinson - Motherwell - OUT
