Rangers will look to continue their impressive form prior to the international break as they welcome struggling Kilmarnock to Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this Saturday (kick-off: 3pm).
On a run of five successive wins, a 1-0 win over Celtic last time out pushed Derek McInnes’ men to within two points of their Glasgow rivals. A victory over Kilmarnock this weekend could put them top, albeit temporarily, with the Hoops playing 24 hours later away to Motherwell.
As for the visitors, Kilmarnock, Neil McCann’s side arrive desperate for points after a difficult start to the campaign. Currently bottom of the table, the Rugby Park outfit have shipped more goals [15] than any other side in the division. However, they have shown signs of recovery in recent weeks, picking up draws against Hearts and Aberdeen. They also secured their first league win of the season, beating Hibs 1-0 at Easter Road a little over three weeks ago.
