Rangers have wasted no time in building their squad for the upcoming season, with five players already through the door at Ibrox as the club begins a new era under head coach Derek McInnes.
After a disappointing third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season, the Glasgow giants are determined to get their summer recruitment right this term, as they aim to return to their former glories and topple rivals Celtic and Hearts, who both finished above them last term.
Having ended the season with four defeats in five, former boss Danny Rohl opted to depart the club to move closer to home, agreeing a deal to become Red Bull Salzburg’s new manager in the Austrian Bundesliga, which allowed McInnes to step into the breach after his impressive stint in charge of Hearts last term. But which players will he view as part of the club’s future - and which does he not?
With movement anticipated during the summer transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 15 players who could leave Rangers this summer.

9. Danilo
The forgotten striker is well down the pecking order at Rangers following arrival of Lawrence Shankland, and Ryan Naderi in January. Spent the second half of last season on loan to NEC Nijmegen, but scored just once in 12 appearances. 10. Nico Raskin
Talk of Rangers' outgoings this summer has been dominated by the future of the diminutive midfielder. He performed well at the World Cup with Belgium, and newly promoted Hull City and Serie A outfit Bologna are thought to be leading the chase for Raskin, who has two years left on his current deal at Ibrox. | Andrew Milligan/PA Wire Photo: Andrew Milligan/PA Wire

11. Emmanuel Fernandez
Fernandez was one of few net-positives for Rangers last season, morphing into one of the first names on the team sheet after a slow start to his time at Ibrox. Linked to Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen in January, he was subject of much transfer speculation in the second half of the season. The noise around him has quietened down a little since then, but a big money bid could see that change.

12. Mason Munn
Spent time on loan to Dunfermline Athletic and Forfar Athletic last season to get some first team experience, and could move out on loan again for similar reasons, with both Ivor Pandur and Liam Kelly ahead of him in the Rangers pecking order. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
