Rangers will return to league action this week as they face a difficult trip to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership at Fir Park on Wednesday (kick-off: 8pm).
Having secured a safe passage through to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a thumping 8-0 win over Queen’s Park on Sunday, Danny Rohl’s men will now look to close the gap to league leaders Hearts, with six points currently separating the two sides at the top of the table.
However, they’ll face a stern challenge from fourth-placed Motherwell, who are unbeaten in nine games in all competitions on home soil, and sit just five points behind the top three.
