Hearts will look to strengthen their grip on the top spot in the Scottish Premiership as they welcome Rangers to Tynecastle for a crucial Scottish Premiership clash this Sunday (kick-off: 1.30pm).
Derek McInnes’ side currently sit six points clear at the top of the table following wins against Celtic and Falkirk in the last fortnight, and will be aiming to secure their first back-to-back wins against Rangers in five years to cement their status as league leaders before Christmas.
Their visitors, Rangers, head to the capital in confident fashion, though, after their narrow 1-0 win over Hibs on Monday made it eight consecutive league games without defeat under German head coach Danny Rohl. A win in Gorgie would close the gap between the sides to just six points, with the Gers still having a game in hand.
Ahead of the game at Tynecastle, The Scotsman has all the latest team news:

13. Derek Cornelius - Rangers - OUT
His injury was not as bad as first feared, and the Canadian is hoping for a return to the first team soon. However, this weekend's game at Tynecastle will be too early for him to be included in Rohl's matchday squad. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
