Scotland’s World Cup adventure is now just a mere four months away, and discussions over which players Steve Clarke should select within his squad are already dominating the headlines.
It took almost three decades to seal their return to the World Cup, but the Tartan Army will attest that it was well worth the wait, with the 4-2 win over Denmark that secured qualification to the tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada one of the most historic nights in Scottish football history.
Many will be praying they are on the head coach's mind ahead of the summer, but there are also a number of Scotland internationals also sweating over their future at club level, with plenty Scottish talents out of contract this coming summer.
Here are the top 15 Scotland internationals that are set to become free agents in the summer:

9. Craig Gordon - Hearts
The 43-year-old goalkeeper is tipped by many to be Scotland's number one at the World Cup this summer, though he may head to the tournament as a free agent. 10. Liam Kelly - Rangers
Signed a two-year contract when he joined Rangers on a Bosman free transfer from Motherwell, and ended last season as the club's number one, having ousted Jack Butland in the latter part of the campaign. He's struggled to dislodge the England international this season and has become a bit of a forgotten man at Ibrox, having only played sporadically in the Scottish Cup. 11. Andy Robertson - Liverpool
Linked with moves to Atletico Madrid in the summer and Tottenham Hotspur in January, it looks like Robertson's long association with Liverpool will be drawing to a close this summer. Expected to captain Scotland at the World Cup, the left-back will have no shortage of suitors when his contract officially expires at Anfield, having won everything there is to be won during his time on Merseyside. | Getty Images

12. Jon McCracken - Dundee
Still just 25-years-old, McCracken has impressed during the last 18 months at Dens Park, and broke into the Scotland squad during the back end of 2024. While he remains first choice at Dundee, he is out of contract in the summer and could opt to leave for pastures new. | Getty Images
