Kilmarnock 0 - 1 Celtic: Armstrong extends lead at the top
Celtic go 13 points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership after this hard-fought contest with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Playing a day ahead of the chasing pack, Brendan Rodgers’ side took full advantage as Stuart Armstrong’s goal, a minute before half-time, proved enough for the victory.
Kilmarnock battled valiantly to the death but, while they gave a good account of themselves overall, failed to do much to trouble Craig Gordon in the Celtic goal.
In addition to Armstrong’s strike, which he finished from inside the area after being played in by Moussa Dembele, Celtic hit the post through Mikael Lustig, while Patrick Roberts had a shot saved by Jamie MacDonald and James Forrest saw an effort cleared off the line.
