What channel is Scotland v Denmark? TV and free live stream details for decisive World Cup qualifier

How to watch Scotland v Denmark

Hampden Park will be at fever pitch on Tuesday evening as Scotland bid to end their 28-year World Cup absence in front of a sold-out national stadium.

Not since France 1998 under Craig Brown has a Scotland side competed on the global stage but that near-three decade wait will end if they defeat Denmark in Glasgow to secure qualification for the 2026 tournament taking place in USA, Canada and Mexico next summer.

It had been assumed that the 3-2 defeat in Greece on Saturday would condemn Steve Clarke’s men to the play-offs with Denmark fully expected to beat Belarus at home.

However, the shock 2-2 draw in Copenhagen has kept Scottish interest alive with Denmark just one point ahead of Scotland at the top of Group C ahead of the final deciding qualifier.

The two sides met in the opening match of the campaign in September with Scotland securing a credible goalless draw in the Parken Stadium.

A repeat of that outcome will suit the Danes on this occasion while Scotland will hope to replicate the 2021 showdown at Hampden where goals from John Souttar and Che Adams secured a 2-0 home win.

Hojlund missed Denmark’s 2-2 draw with Belarus on Saturday alongside defender Joachim Anderson. However, both have travelled to Glasgow and are part of the squad. Midfielder Andreas Dreyer will miss out after he was left back in Denmark with a bug.
