It has felt like Euro 2024 has taken an eternity to arrive, but finally Europe’s premier football tournament is here on June 14 to offer fans a summer feast of football.
Taking place across ten stadiums in the football-mad country of Germany, Scotland will kick off the tournament against the Euro 2024 hosts in Munich and the match is certain to be one of the most watched during the competition.
Many fans will be excited to see how a host of the world’s best players perform under the microscope of a major tournament, with Jude Bellingham, the soon-to-be retired Toni Kroos and - the best of all - John McGinn lining up for their respective countries.
And while the knockout stages of the tournament are naturally the most thrilling, the group stages have thrown up a superb selection of clashes within the first 13 days of the tournament.
Here are 10 Euro 2024 group games you should definitely not miss next month.

5. Germany vs Hungary - 19 June - 5pm
In a game that could have huge bearing on Scotland's hopes of progressing out of the group, the tournament hosts will take on the ever-improving Hungary in Stuttgart. While Germany will be the favourites, their opponents are an excellent side and have beaten Germany in their own backyard as recently as 2022 in the UEFA Nations League. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

6. Denmark vs England - 20 June - 5pm
The sides clashed at the semi-final stage at Euro 2020 but will lock horns in Group C at this summer's tournament. While the Three Lions are expected to progress out of the group, Denmark will provide them their biggest challenge in a game that is sure to test Gareth Southgate's team and their 'favourites' tag. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Spain vs Italy - 20 June - 5pm
Now we're talking. The reigning European champions will be up against Spain, a side who has won the tournament more than any other, in front of 55,000 fans at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Set up to be one of the best group games in the competition, this one should be tasty. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. Netherlands vs France - June 21 - 8pm
Hot on the heels of Spain vs Italy is another mammoth clash in Group D. Interestingly, Netherlands and France have already clashed in the qualifiers but were drawn together again in the tournament itself. France defeated the Dutch twice in 2023, so they'll be on the lookout for revenge on the biggest stage. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
