It’s finally here! Like a kid on Christmas eve, Scotland fans are in full Euro 2024 mode as the team prepare to open the tournament against hosts Germany tomorrow night.
The Tartan Army’s first major tournament on foreign soil since World Cup 1998, the optimism is almost as high as the anticipation with thousands of Scotland fans already descending on Munich.
As Scott McKenna attested to earlier in the week, all 26 squad members are desperate to be part of the starting XI - and the head coach definitely has some selection dilemmas. Who begins as part of his midfield? Does Lawrence Shankland start up front - or will Che Adams be given the nod?
As for Germany, they have their own selection dilemmas and suffered an injury blow earlier this week when talented Bayern Munich youngster Aleksandar Pavlović was ruled out of the entire tournament due to illness.
Who do we think will start for Scotland and Germany tomorrow in the Euro 2024 opener? Here is our predicted starting XI for both teams.

5. CB: Grant Hanley
He's lacking match fitness after an injury-hit campaign with Norwich City. We think he will win his 51st cap tomorrow night though, starting in the middle of the back three. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

6. CB: Antonio Rudiger
One of Germany's key players, the Real Madrid centre-back will be one of the first names on Julian Nagelsmann's team sheet. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. LCB: Kieran Tierney
Had an injury scare in May but has came through both of Scotland's warm-up games without any problems. A guaranteed starter when fit. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. CB: Jonathan Tah
Part of Bayer Leverkusen's invincible season, Tah will start alongside Antonio Rudiger at the heart of the German defence. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
