Scotland will make their return to the World Cup in buoyant mood following a fine 4-0 friendly win over Bolivia in New Jersey.
In a far from packed Sports Illustrated stadium in hot and humid conditions, Lawrence Shankland struck with a header in the fifth minute, then set up midfielder Scott McTominay for a well-worked second in the 20th minute before Che Adams added two more before the break.
There should be some caution attached to the optimism as the South Americans demonstrated why they are FIFA-ranked 76 to Scotland’s 43, but nevertheless the Tartan Army are entitled to enjoy added positivity as they look forward to seeing their side back on the big stage against Haiti next weekend.
Here are the ratings for the Scotland players:

1. Angus Gunn
A rare 90 minutes. Made three routine saves. Looked secure - and is likely to be Scotland's keeper against Haiti. 7 | PA

2. Aaron Hickey
Not tested defensively. Tried to back up Gannon-Doak in attack. Came off after an hour. Still building up fitness and enjoyed this outing. 7 | Getty Images

3. Jack Hendry
Will have had tougher assignments defensively. Came close to scoring with a header at the start of the second half. 7 | Getty Images

4. Grant Hanley
Experienced centre-half marshalled the defence well. Bolivia barely got a sniff. 7 | PA
