Scotland are looking for a new head coach for the first time in seven years after Steve Clarke resigned on Sunday morning.
Clarke called time on his seven-year tenure in the wake of Scotland’s exit from the World Cup being confirmed.
His decision now leaves the Scottish Football Association with the task of finding a new manager - a month after Clarke had renewed his contract until the summer of 2030.
Scotland are not back in action until the September Nations League campaign, where they face Switzerland, Slovenia and North Macedonia.
We take a look at some of the early candidates who are being mooted to replace Clarke by the bookmakers (odds quoted by Skybet, please gamble responsibly):

5. Brendan Rodgers
A highly successful Celtic manager across two spells, the Northern Irishman left Parkhead last October and is currently doing a good job in charge of Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. Odds: 11/1 | Getty Images

6. Robbie Keane
The Irish striker recently left Ferencvaros and was a live contender for the Celtic job until earlier this month. Currently available. Odds: 9/1 | AFP via Getty Images

7. Derek McInnes
Had he still been at Hearts, then McInnes would be the name on most people's lips. However, he took over at Rangers less than two weeks ago and simply won't be jumping ship from Ibrox to Hampden at this stage. Odds: 8/1 | Getty Images

8. Scott Brown
Out of management since leaving Ayr United earlier this year, Brown has been working as a pundit during the World Cup. Was a stalwart in Scotland's midfield but this role has probably come too soon for him as a coach. Odds: 17/2. | Getty Images
