How to watch Aberdeen v Hibs
Aberdeen and Hibs meet at Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday with both clubs in desperate need of points after disappointing starts to the Scottish Premiership season.
Hibs are bottom of the table after collecting just nine points from their opening 11 league matches but they travel to the north-east on a high after their 2-1 derby win over Hearts in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals last weekend.
A huge result for the club, it also provided a first victory at the fifth attempt for new head coach Marink Reedijk since succeeding David Gray, who was sacked in September after overseeing six successive home defeats.
Aberdeen have also performed below expectations this season and currenty sit 10th in the standings, two places and three points above Hibs, to leave manager Stephen Robinson fighting for his job.
The Dons can take encouragement from running Rangers close in their own Premier Sports Cup semi-final last weekend before going down to a late 1-0 defeat at Hampden. However, the league form has not been good with Aberdeen managing to win only one of their last five home games and failing to score in four of them.
The previous meeting between the sides this season ended in a 1-1 draw at Easter Road with John Potter taking interim charge of Hibs for the match following Gray’s departure.
