Hibs will look to go one step closer to the Conference League as they welcome Shkendija to Easter Road in the third round qualifiers on Thursday night (kick-off: 8pm).
Last week, David Gray’s side overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit against KF Malisheva to qualify for the next round, running out 4-3 winners on aggregate and booking a clash with the North Macedonian outfit in the process as they eye a spot in the competition’s League Phase.
With the second leg set to be played at the Ecolog Arena in Tetovo next Thursday (August 13), Hibs will be looking to make home advantage count. However, the capital club do have several injury concerns ahead of the game.
As for the visitors, Shkendija, key players Fabrice Tamba and Bojan Dimoski can breathe a sigh of relief after being cleared of serious injury. The pair were forced off in the last round against NK Bravo, but are expected to return to training this week after a short period of rest.
