Arsenal’s Daniel Boateng signs Hibs loan deal

Boateng, 21, confirmed the deal on his Twitter account this morning. The stopper will join up with the Easter Road side on Monday.

Boateng, who can play at full-back or centre-back, has been on the books at Arsenal since his school days but has made just one first-team appearance for Arsene Wenger’s side, in a League Cup win over Bolton Wanderers in 2011.

Hibs boss Terry Butcher unveiled Notts County winger Danny Haynes and Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore at a press conference this afternoon.
