Hearts will aim to go seven points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership this weekend as they welcome Aberdeen to Tynecastle this Saturday (kick-off: 3pm).
Scheduled to play 24 hours before their title rivals Rangers and Celtic, who meet at Ibrox at Sunday lunchtime, Derek McInnes’ side are able to pile the pressure on the Glasgow due if they can pick up their third successive home win, though, they have a number of injury concerns ahead of the clash in the capital.
As for their visitors, Aberdeen, they arrive in Gorgie on the back of a four-game winless run in the league and 10 points adrift of the top six after Tuesday’s 0-0 draw against Dundee United.
