Celtic will aim to return to winning ways when they head to in-form Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon (kick-off: 1pm).
Martin O’Neill’s side had Liam Scales to thank for rescuing a 2-2 draw against Dundee United in midweek, after Camilo Duran’s early opener had been cancelled out by two quick strikes from Zac Sapsford and Neil Farrugia at Celtic Park. Despite dropping two valuable points at home, the Hoops maintained their four-point advantage at the top of the table, with Rangers also drawing 2-2 with Hearts.
As for the hosts, Falkirk, their recent improvement continued as they wracked up a third successive league win with a 1-0 victory away to Aberdeen. Ben Krauhaus’ 73rd minute goal put John McGlynn’s side into the top half of the table for the first time this season.
