Celtic 'agree terms' with £9m striker as social media post teases imminent Parkhead arrival
6ft 2in frontman en route to Celtic Park ahead of Hearts clash
Celtic's search for a new striker looks to be over amid reports that they have clinched a deal for Borussia Monchengladbach frontman Tomas Cvancara.
The Czech Republic international moved to Turkish club Antalyaspor on a season-long loan last summer but the arrangement was terminated last month over a wage dispute.
It now appears that Celtic have reached an agreement to take the 25-year-old on loan for the remainder of the campaign in a deal that will include an option to buy.

According to reports, personal terms have been agreed with the 6ft 2in forward, who was signed by Monchengladbach for £9million from Sparta Prague in 2023.
The player himself took to social media on Tuesday evening to tease his Parkhead arrival, posting a photo on his Instagram page of himself boarding a plane with his agent.
Cvancara scored 24 goals in 49 games for the Czech outfit but has been less prolific in the German Bundesliga, netting five times in 54 matches for Monchengladbach before his loan move to Turkey, where his 13 appearances for Antalyaspor produced two goals.
He also has eight caps and one goal for the Czech national team, but has not been capped since 2024.
Celtic have been in the market for a striker since selling Kyogo Furuhashi to Rennes 12 months ago. Kelechi Iheanacho was brought in as a free agent after the summer window closed following his release from Sevilla but has spent much of the campaign thus far on the treatment table.

The Parkhead side have been alternating between Johnny Kenny and Daizen Maeda as the central striker in recent weeks. Fans chanted for the club to "sign a player" during the 2-0 win over Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Afterwards, Celtic manager Martin O'Neill revealed he was hopeful of having new faces arrive time for the top of the table clash against Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.
Cvancara will not be able to feature in the Europa League match against Utrecht on Thursday, however, as he cannot be registered for that competition until the knockout stages.
