Steve Clarke will name his first Scotland squad in over four months on Tuesday as the national team gear up for the beginning of their Qatar 2022 World Cup qualification campaign.
While there are three big games against Austria, Israel and the Faroe Islands coming up, this squad will also be the last chance for the squad to get together before the European Championships.
With form fluctuating for players in and out of the squad last time round, there have been calls for several uncapped players to be included this time around so Clarke can assess them in person before this summer’s tournament.
Here are seven of those uncapped players (and one fringe player who could also find himself returning to the fold)...

5. Shaun Rooney (St Johnstone)

6. Billy Gilmour (Chelsea)
Scotland fans are eager to see the incredibly-skilled midfielder in action for the national team and if he's in Clarke's thoughts at all for the Euros, then he may get a call for this triple-header. Photo: Catherine Ivill

7. Che Adams (Southampton)
The striker is back among the goals in the EPL and would be a no-brainer selection if he's willing to commit his international future to Scotland. He qualifies to play for Clarke's side through a maternal grandparent. Photo: Pool

8. Jack Hendry (Oostende)
Not uncapped, but it was not expected the centre-back would build on his three appearances when his career at Celtic fell apart, but he's been excellent in Belgium's top flight this season. Photo: KRISTOF VAN ACCOM
