Doughnut creator Catherine displays a mouth-watering selection of Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the opening of the US chain’s new outlet at Braehead, near Glasgow.

Fans queued all night in the rain to be among the first to be sample some of the goodies. The store, at the former Clydebuilt Scottish Maritime Museum, is the chain’s largest retail outlet in the UK and Scotland’s third following those in Edinburgh and Livingston.
