These monochrome pumpkin decorations are an easy way to bring a subtle Halloween touch into your home without going overboard
I’m not usually looking to turn my home into a full Halloween set, but I do love adding a few seasonal touches when October rolls around. These pumpkin decorations £28 from Very have caught my eye because they feel a little more grown-up than some of the brighter Halloween accessories.
The set includes two polyresin pumpkin decorations in a monochrome design, making them easy to work into the home without having to completely change your existing décor.
At £28 for the pair, they’re the sort of seasonal home buy I could see bringing out year after year rather than something that feels like a one-season novelty. The Very pumpkin decorations are available here.
I like the monochrome approach because Halloween décor can sometimes lean heavily towards orange, black and lots of obvious spooky motifs. These pumpkins keep the seasonal reference but should be easier to pair with neutral interiors, whether that means placing them on a sideboard, mantelpiece, shelf or coffee table.
They could also work as part of a bigger autumn display. I’d be tempted to pair them with a few warm-toned candles, dried foliage and some softer textures rather than going all-out with Halloween decorations.
And pumpkins aren’t just for Halloween. Once October is over, they could still work as part of an autumnal display before the Christmas decorations inevitably start making an appearance. If you’re someone who likes to decorate for the seasons without buying lots of disposable-looking accessories, that makes them a little more appealing.
I’m already picturing these on a console table with a few candles and some autumn foliage. It’s a simple way to acknowledge Halloween without making the whole room look like a haunted house.
The Very set of two Polyresin Pumpkin Mono Halloween Decorations costs £28 and is available to shop at Very here.
