Songkran water festival celebrated in Thailand
THAIS and tourists engage in a water fight in Bangkok as part of the Songkran water festival, which marks the traditional Thai New Year and is celebrated each year between 13 and 15 April.
The water spray is meant as a symbol of cleansing and purification.
