Moldova facing up to early elections
Moldovan prime minister Vlad Filat’s pro-Europe government resigned yesterday after being defeated in a confidence vote, raising the prospect of early elections.
Mr Filat’s government effectively collapsed when it was deserted by two coalition parties in the 5 March vote.
