AN American exchange student who got stuck in a giant vagina sculpture was freed by firefighters in southwestern Germany.

A Tübingen fire service said official said that the young man slipped as he tried to climb into the stone sculpture to pose for a photo.

Twenty-two firefighters attended the scene, with four easing him out of Chacán-Pi (Making Love), which stands outside of Tübingen University’s institute for microbiology and virology.

The incident happened on Friday. The student’s name was not released.

No damage was done to the sculpture, created by Peruvian-born artist Fernando de la Jara.

The sculpture, a 32-ton red marble structure, is meant to signify “the gateway to the world”.
