Briton jailed over Cyprus villa sales
A BRITON has been jailed for ten months for illegally selling Greek Cypriot property in Cyprus’s breakaway Turkish north.
Police said Gary John Robb, 48, from South Shields, Tyne and Wear, was convicted on charges that he helped sell dozens of luxury villas built illegally on Greek Cypriot land in the north.
It is the first such case adjudicated by a Cypriot court.
