Three arrests after Edinburgh protest over Palestine Action

Three people have been charged under the Terrorism Act after a protest in Edinburgh a week ago.

Campaigners took part in a Defend Our Juries demonstration outside the UK Government’s Scottish headquarters at Queen Elizabeth House, off New Street, on Tuesday, November 18.

They held protests reading ‘I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action’.

It was one of a series of protests held across the UK after the government announced police were to be given greater powers to restrict protests by allowing them to consider the 'cumulative impact' of repeated demonstrations.
