Students lead history debate
A PUBLIC debate is to take place at Edinburgh University’s School of History, Classics, and Archaeology on December 1.
Students from the university will be debating what sorts of historical research deserve public funding in difficult economic times.
Audience members will be able to ask questions and offer comments, and will decide at the end of the event which of the two debate teams has made the stronger case.
Tickets for the event, which begins at 6.30pm, are free but should be reserved at www.thehistorydebates.co.uk.
