Quarry Road: Hamilton street closed and residents evacuated due to 'unsafe building'

Residents have been evacuated from several properties on a street in Hamilton after reports of an “unsafe building”.
Police were called to Quarry Street, near Hamilton Central train station, at around 12.40am on Tuesday morning.
They said a number of properties had been evacuated as a precaution, and that the road is closed while enquiries are carried out.
People are being told to avoid the area.
