John McGhee: Missing Glasgow man found dead in field after boarding bus to London
His family have been informed.
A missing man from Scotland has been found dead in a field near Surrey after boarding a bus to London.
John McGhee, 63, boarded a bus in Glasgow bound for London on Wednesday, January 7.
A search for the missing man was soon launched afterwards.
On Wednesday, January 14, the body of a 63-year-old man was found in a field in Tatsfield.
Mr McGhee’s family has been informed
Death being treated as ‘not suspicious’
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Wednesday, January 14, police attended a field in Tatsfield, Surrey following a member of the public reporting a sighting of a body.
“Sadly, a man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
