Rotary stirs up awards
fundraisers from the Balerno Rotary Club have reached the finals of a national awards scheme.
The group raised £25,000 for the MS Society by selling a specially-created cookbook, and has been named a finalist in the Fundraiser of the Year category at the charity’s awards.
The fundraising was begun by club president, Robert Menzies, whose mother had multiple sclerosis. The cookbook included recipes donated by Gordon Ramsay and Rick Stein.
